Maine Project
AMP board members and staff gathered in Portland, Maine, where they collected items throughout the city and along the beach of Prouts Neck, including rubbings from the downtown streets, a gigantic piece of drift wood, fishing nets, lobster traps, lawn ornaments, and a number of smelly bait bags. Children from a local summer camp painted designs on some of the collected items, which are part of the section of the mural depicting Maine fisherman Manley Doughty and his crew.
