Colorado PROJECT
AMP’s Colorado state project took place on the day before International Peace Day, at the Journey of Hope Benefit Concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison.
Dozens of people of all ages painted, drew, and wrote messages on an eight-foot paper-pulp sculpture, in the rough shape of a giant link, that will eventually form a chain-like element over 400-feet long in AMP’s visitors center, symbolizing the link between small communities across the country. This first link was one of more than 50 that will be included in the mural.
