Space Studies Project
On AMP’s Space Studies projects, students on high-school robotics teams are studying a particular group of scientists or engineers on NASA’s Mars Explorer Rover (MER) mission, meeting members of that group, and then working with them to create a metaphoric portrait honoring the group and its contributions to the mission. Students are meeting the MER participants at the Jet Propulsion Lab, General Dynamics, Kennedy Space Center, and other venues across the country.
