DIRECTIONS TO AMP

From the West: Travel eastbound on Route 44 through Winsted. Pass the Winsted Green and Northwestern CT Community College (yellow brick building) on the left. Whiting Street is across from Dunkin Donuts and is the next left after the college buildings. If you get to the traffic light, you've gone too far. The American Mural Project is on the right.

From the East: Travel westbound on Route 44 to Winsted. Pass the junction for 183 and Route 8 South. After the next traffic light, turn right on Whiting Street (a Dunkin Donuts is opposite the entrance to Whiting Street). If you pass the college (yellow brick building on the right), you've gone too far. The American Mural Project is on the right.

From the South: Take Route 8 North. After exiting via the ramp, turn right on Route 44. Very soon after, turn right on Whiting Street (a Dunkin Donuts is opposite the entrance to Whiting Street). If you pass the college (yellow brick building on the right), you’ve gone too far. The American Mural Project is on the right.

From the North: Follow Route 8 South into the center of Winsted. Turn left on Holabird Avenue (traffic light before the Winsted Green). Turn right on Whiting Street. The American Mural Project is on the left.

PARKING: There is limited parking in the parking lot, but there is additional parking on the American Mural Project side of the street (NOT in the assigned spaces along the river). There is additional parking at the Northwestern CT Community College Arts and Sciences building off of Holabird Avenue.

BUS PARKING: There are three spaces for bus parking directly in front of the AMP building, with a separate entrance from the main parking lot.
