In response to the expressed needs of art educators, teachers, and artists, AMP offers a one-day professional development workshop.

Session 1: Connecting to Community Through Art
Learn how to build a strong foundation that sets students up for success to initiate community art-making collaborations.

Session 2: Introduction to the Choice-Based Art Room
In this introduction to the exciting benefits of choice-based art making, you will learn easy ways to get started and how to avoid common pitfalls.

In this two-session workshop you will also:

• View AMP's three-dimensional, collaborative mural from three levels on an educator-focused tour

• Dabble in various art mediums

• Connect and share ideas and resources with your peers

• Take home practical lesson plans to get started
