Honoring Firefighters with Free Admission, a Fire History Exhibit, Art Activities—and a Special Event

This quarter’s theme highlights the courageous work of firefighters, with a special focus on mural subject Melissa Bennett. Tours will give special attention to her story, and visitors can also explore an antique firefighting exhibit on the second level, generously on loan from The Museum of Fire History in Bristol, CT.

AMP is expanding its Family Day offerings. Now kids can engage in fire-themed art activity during all of our exhibit hours.

Free Admission for Firefighters

All firefighters receive free admission through October 5, when the theme will culminate with an AMP Talk by firefighter Melissa Bennett. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear firsthand about her work in the field and her journey to becoming part of the mural.
